I believe that you are… and always will be… my little princess.

Ruby was a perfect princess. Too adorable for words, pretty princess smile, wanting to wear tons of jewelry. But not a princess who was afraid to get into the leaves for shots. Or climb trees.![]()

What I’m working on today… Ruby the Princess. I’m attempting to teach myself Lightroom better… less Photoshop the better I think. This proves it.

Marina, like many 6 year olds, likes to dress up. I could see her face absolutely light up when I pulled the gorgeous tutu out of my bag. She smiled a little bigger with the matching top. And then when I pulled out the feather boas? I asked her if she wanted to wear one, and she shyly nodded. How about these pearls? Yes please. This sparkly flower ring? Absolutely.
She was a bit shy when we started but definitely knew how a princess was to pose. I didn’t have to pose her much because she knew what to do. Easy to take photos of her. Amazing session. Marina warmed up a bit and ever ran for me. I have to admit, I had a big smile on my face when I was editing this Imagination Session.
The tutu is from http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetlollipopkisses (same place as the bug tutus) and the top was custom created by my friend Daisy of Turquoise Pearl ( http://www.turquoisepearl.ca/). The shoes and crown are Marina’s. I need a pair of sparkly shoes like she has. Every girl does.
Enjoy!

When in doubt, twirl! Anonymous
Who doesn’t want to wear a tutu and spin? Ok, maybe not the majority of people, but I know little girls love to wear tutus and spin. And my sister. She’s not little but I know she’d be into it. When Chris contacted me to do a Imagination Session, I asked what her girls (ages 2 and 1) would like to do. She said they like to wear tutus and the older one loves to twirl. Love it. So I scoured etsy (the fabulous site) for tutus and came across BUG COSTUMES WITH TUTUS! Cuteness X 50 million. Want one yourself? Here’s the link to Charlotte’s website… http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetlollipopkisses . Shipping to Canada ain’t cheap but so worth it.
We met at Government House (how could I have been overlooking such a GEM in this city). Dressed the girls up and wow, so cute! Kate (the bumblebee) mostly just wanted to run as a 2 year old will. Cole, being one, was more contained as she can’t walk yet. Could two little girls be anymore cute?
